Join Sewcial Fridays for a weekly dose of sewing at the Café in Genthod! Spend Friday mornings sewing with fellow enthusiasts. Whether you're working on projects big or small, seeking inspiration on new ideas, or just want a relaxing start to your weekend, we've got you covered. Bring your sewing machine and enjoy a cup of coffee in a friendly atmosphere. See you there!

Sewcial Fridays are for those who have basic sewing skills, to those who have more experience.
Sewcial Fridays will be hosted by Hanne Thye Frosch and with Iris Maag behind the counter of the café. Both of us share a passion for sewing and have found that we sew better in the company of others! Our objective is to keep the craft of sewing alive by inspiring people to sew their own clothes and to pass on the joy of sewing.

If I don’t have my own sewing machine
It is possible to rent a sewing machine for CHF 8 per sewing session. Please indicate if you want to rent a sewing machine when signing up.

Dates
Sewcial Fridays will be held on every Fridays except vacations and a few other occasions.
​
Friday Sewcial Club will be held on the following Fridays until summer: 6/9, 13/9, 20/9, 27/9, 4/10, 11/10, 18/10, 1/11, 8/11, 15/11, 22/11, 29/11, 6/12 and 13/12.

Sewcial Fridays has a maximum capacity of six to eight participants for each session.

Pay as you go
CHF 50 per session. With pay as you go alternative, you can reserve in advance, depending on availability that Friday.
