Upcycling: Sew unique Christmas presents out of an old shirt

You cannot beat the pleasure of making something for yourself or telling your amazed friends or family, “I made it”. 

We guide you step by step on the way to sew accessories from an old shirt so that you easily can sew Christmas presents for friends, family or  yourself. By using an old shirt, each of the accessories become unique with its own personal history. 

The sewing workshop is perfect for beginners that are familiar with using a sewing machine, people who have sewn in the past but need a refresher and confident sewers who wants inspiration on how to do upcycling.

During the workshop you will learn:

- how to use and choose the right old shirt for your sewing projects instead of fabric per metre

- how to make your old shirt suitable for cutting out

- all of the necessary sewing terminology and equipment

The only thing you need to bring is your own sewing machine, an old shirt, matching thread and basic notions. We will provide patterns, step-by-step sewing instructions with drawings and all the sewing supplies needed.
