Join Friday Sewcial Club for a weekly dose of sewing at the Café in Genthod! Spend Friday lunches sewing with fellow enthusiasts. Whether you're working on projects big or small, seeking inspiration on new ideas, or just want a relaxing start to your weekend, we've got you covered. Bring your sewing machine and enjoy a light lunch in a friendly atmosphere. See you there!

Friday Sewcial Club are for those who have basic sewing skills, to those who have more experience. Friday Sewcial Club has a maximum capacity of six participants for each session.
Friday Sewcial Club will be hosted by Hanne Thye Frosch and with Iris Maag behind the counter of the café. Both of us share a passion for sewing and have found that we sew better in the company of others! Our objective is to keep the craft of sewing alive by inspiring people to sew their own clothes and to pass on the joy of sewing.

A light lunch and a cup of coffee or tea. Everything is homemade.

A selection of patterns is available

Sewing equipment – pattern paper, scissors, pins, seam ripper, sewing thread etc. are available

If I don’t have my own sewing machine:
It is possible to rent a sewing machine for CHF 8 per sewing session. Please indicate if you want to rent a sewing machine when signing up.

Sign-up:
Fridays Sewcial Club will be held on every Fridays except vacations and a few other occasions.
​
Friday Sewcial Club will be held on the following Fridays until summer: 19/4, 26/4, 3/5, 10/5, 17/5, 24/5, 31/5, 7/6 and 14/6.
​
Friday Sewcial Club has a maximum capacity of six to eight participants for each session.

CHF 200 for 5 sessions – to be used on Fridays of your choice. Guaranteed spot every Friday.
Pay as you go
CHF 55 per session. With pay as you go alternative, you can reserve in advance, depending on availability that Friday.
